June 22, 2022, GWP China convened multiple sector and institutions for anther brainstorming for the groundwater challenges in North China.

June 13-14, 2022, GWP China Hebei organized the Seminar of "Investigation on Implementation Effect of Water Ecological Environment Regulation in Baiyangdian & Daqing River Basin" in Shijiazhuang, capital of Hebei Province. Chaired by GWP China Hebei's Chair, Jianyi LIANG, the workshop invited 17 experts and stakeholders to the meeting.

GWP China Vice Chair, Hao WANG, visited Fuzhou (capital city of Fujian Province) facilitating local authorities to access the ‘Water Intelligent System’ impact, an AI based flood control system.

March 22, 2022, UN World Water Development Report 2022 “Groundwater - making the invisible visible” was launched at the opening ceremony of the 9th World Water Forum in Dakar, Senegal. GWP China facilitated the launching of the Executive Summary of the Report in Chinese.

April 2, 2022, GWP Chair, Howard Bamsey, delivered over 60 potential water professionals offline and 100 online a lecture ‘Financing Climate Change’.

GWP China Senior TEC Advisor, Guoliang CHEN, former Chair of GWP China Fujian and member of the Standing Committee of the ninth Fujian Provincial People's Congress, donated his publication "Drink Water from The Same River - 23 Years of Water Sharing Between Fujian & Taiwan" to the Fujian-Taiwan Museum in Quanzhou, Fujian Province, late February 2022.

February 21, 2022, Global Water Development, a youth capacity building programme, was initiated in Beijing. Hosted by the Department of Water of Tsinghua University and supported by GWP China and GWP WAY, the programme manages to help undergraduate students of Tsinghua explore their knowledge and related tools.

December 7 and 8, 2021, the 2nd Lancang-Mekong Water Resources Cooperation Forum was kicked off via a ministers’dialogue at the opening ceremony following with six themed sessions.

29 May 2021, the Junior Water Prize (JWP) Final was broadcast live to 900,000 audiences online. 15 teams of 13-18-year-old students from 8 provinces shared their innovative products and answered the jury to realize their innovative solutions to improve water and environment development. Zhan Hanchu and Huang Haoxing, Guangdong Experimental Middle School, won the award for their "voice-controlled water saving device”.

22 October 2020, the China Water News published a special issue on which composed interviews with leaders of the Ministry of Water Resources, GWP China, IAHR, ICID and more international organizations. The powers, from various standpoints, introduced their international water cooperation outcomes and highlights.
