The Country Water Partnership of Guinea (PNEGui) took part in the information and sensitization meeting of water stakeholders on the World Water Forum Dakar 2022 held in Conakry on March 04, 2021, under the chairmanship of Mr. Soufiana DABO, Coordinator of the OMVS (River Senegal Authority) Guinea.

Faso The international Community celebrated the World Water Day (WWD) on March 22 on the topic of what water means to people.

The Mekrou Project Phase 2 – Niger component has started an active implementation phase with the beginning of consulting missions for the operationalization of IWRM in the Mekrou sub-basin in Niger.

GWP-WA is developing fruitful collaboration ties with strategic partners in the region including with UEMOA in helping this regional economic community to implement part of its work plan focusing on IWRM and water related SDGs activities.

GWP-WA has signed in February with IUCN Central and West Africa Regional Office an executing agreement for the implementation of activities included in the Regional Partnership on Water and Environment in Central and West Africa (PREE) project funded by SIDA.

Mali Country Water Partnership (CWP Mali) held its tenth General Assembly of Partners in Bamako on February 10, 2021 bringing together about fifty (50) delegates representing organizations from the public and private sectors, NGOs and Civil Society, donors and the media.
