This national training of trainers workshop will be held in The Bahamas and put on by CapNet (Caribbean WaterNet) in collaboration with The University of the West Indies (UWI), Global Water Partnership-Caribbean (GWP-C), the Caribbean Community Climate Change Centre (CCCCC), the Caribbean Agricultural Research and Development Institute (CARDI) and The Bahamas Agricultural Health and Food Safety Authority (BAHFSA).
The Indian Institute of Technology and the National Institute of Hydrology Roorke jointly organise a biannual, international conference on water issues. On 26-28 February 2020, the Roorkee Water Conclave will be held on the topic of "Hydrological Aspects of Climate Change". It takes place in Roorkee, Uttarakhand, India.
International Women's Day (IWD) is a global day celebrating the social, economic, cultural and political achievements of women. The day also marks a call to action for accelerating women's equality. It takes place on 8 March every year since 1911.
The virtual conference CLIMATE2020 takes place from 23-30 March. It is organised by the Research and Transfer Centre Sustainability and Climate Impact Management (FTZ-NK) of the Hamburg University of Applied Sciences in Germany, and it will offer an opportunity for dialogue and exchange of ideas with scientists, experts from politics, business, education and other spheres of the society.
Water Europe is launching the first International Water Dialogues Days on 20-21 April in Brussels, Belgium. The conference is held under the theme 'Securing Water for All', and aspires to set-up an action plan for Europe and beyond, to realise the value of water for society and economy towards achieving the 2030 Agenda.
The International Water Association (IWA) is organising the first IWA Digital Water Summit in Bilbao, Spain, on 27-30 April. The event is designed to bring together water technology providers and water utilities with a focus on business and industry.
Starting this year, Zambia will be commemorating the second week of June every year as the Zambia Water Week. GWP Southern Africa is one of the Partners behind the event, held 7-13 June in Lusaka, Zambia.
