The forum will be held under the motto “Clean Water - the key to Sustainable Development” and will promote constructive dialogue among participants and the formation of mutually beneficial partnerships in addressing pressing issues of preserving Lake Baikal and sustainable development of the Baikal natural territory.
The main objectives of the Forum are to draw the attention of the authorities, the public and business to the close interdependence of the ecological quality of the aquatic environment and public health.
The Forum will be attended by representatives of federal and regional executive authorities, the State Duma, the Council of Federation of the Russian Federation, representatives of federal and regional executive authorities of the Russian Federation, reputable public and leading educational organizations, leaders of Russian and foreign business structures, scientists and experts of international level ecology, teachers, students and schoolchildren.
