GWP’s VISION is a water secure world. Our MISSION is to advance governance and management of water resources for sustainable and equitable development.

A network of networks, we ensure the ‘voices of water’ can inﬂuence local, national, regional, and global development priorities. GWP Regions

This is where you can find links to the websites of our Regional Water Partnerships (RWPs). RWPs are closest to the countries where we work. They share knowledge and learning across national boundaries and are expected to have an open, inclusive, and gender-sensitive policies for bringing together as wide a group of stakeholders as possible to solve water problems.

Financing for Water Security in Latin America

Next out in the learning journey on Innovative Financing for Water Security through an IWRM Approach, organised by the SDG 6 IWRM Support Programme, is our online event focusing on Financing for Water Security in Latin America.

It will feature representatives from countries in the region who will present their experiences in applying different instruments to increase investment for water security.We will also have the participation of regional financial organisations.

The event is organised by GWP in Central and South America, with the support of the UN Environment Programme (UNEP), UNEP-DHI Centre on Water and Environment, the Spanish Agency for International Development Cooperation (AECID), through the Water Fund, and the Conference of Ibero-American Water Directors (CODIA).

The online event will take place on November 10^th, 2022 at 3:00 PM CET (check your local time here). The webinar will be held in Spanish only.
