GWP’s VISION is a water secure world. Our MISSION is to advance governance and management of water resources for sustainable and equitable development.

A network of networks, we ensure the ‘voices of water’ can inﬂuence local, national, regional, and global development priorities. GWP Regions

This is where you can find links to the websites of our Regional Water Partnerships (RWPs). RWPs are closest to the countries where we work. They share knowledge and learning across national boundaries and are expected to have an open, inclusive, and gender-sensitive policies for bringing together as wide a group of stakeholders as possible to solve water problems.

How to make a commitment on Transboundary Water Cooperation for the UN 2023 Water Conference

Governments, organizations and other stakeholders are invited to a webinar organized by the Transboundary Water Cooperation Coalition on Monday 27 February 2023 at at 14:00 -15:30 CET / 08:00-09:30 EST / 20:00-21:30 ICT

The Water Action Agenda will be one of the main outcomes of the UN 2023 Water Conference and will set a path moving forward on how stakeholders across the world commit to making progress on water and sanitation.

The webinar will present the UN 2023 Water Conference Water Action Agenda, give details about how to make commitments and then explore more in depth about why specifically commitments on transboundary water are useful, what kinds of commitments can be made and provide examples of commitments. This will be followed by a Q&A to answer any questions you might have.

The webinar will be held in English, French, Arabic and Spanish.

The Transboundary Water Cooperation Coalition is a diverse, multi-stakeholder coalition of actors from around the world with a wide range of functions and capacities that inspires and fosters equitable and sustainable cooperation on transboundary waters and provides support through its members. GWP is a partner in this Coalition.
