Through engaging discussions and expert insights, we will shed light on drought issues and collaborative solutions, including gender-specific challenges and inclusion strategies, emphasising the importance of diversity in our response efforts. This event will also serve as an invitation to join two global communities of practice that have been recently launched in the space of drought management:
- (1) the UNCCD Community of Learning and Practice - a peer-to-peer knowledge exchange network for professionals engaged in enhancing drought policy, planning, and management processes
- (2) the EOTEC DevNet Thematic Working Group on Drought - a community striving to enhance the accessibility and application of earth observation for drought management.
By the end of the webinar, participants will have a deeper understanding of drought challenges and collaborative tools and Earth Observation technologies for sustainable development. This webinar is designed for policymakers, researchers, and practitioners in environmental science, disaster risk management, and sustainable development.
Join us as we unite for Earth and collaborate for a more resilient future!
