Held at IHE Delft, The Netherlands, & online, on 2-4 July 2025, the Symposium will bring together sector organisations, knowledge institutes and policy makers to explore the significant shifts that have taken place in the water sector over the past decades.
Participants will analyse how these changes impact knowledge and capacity strengthening, especially in relation to the new generation water and sanitation professionals, and investigate how knowledge and capacity strengthening can further contribute to water-related improvements.
GWP’s IWRM & Knowledge Management Specialist, Laurent-Charles Tremblay-Lévesque, will present on co-learning processes and the potential of Communities of Learning & Practice (CLPs), findings you can learn more about in the publication Learning Together, Acting Together: Evaluating UNCCD’s Social Learning Contributions to Combating Desertification and Drought by Tremblay-Lévesque and colleagues from GWP, Wageningen University, and UNCCD, due to be published in July.
