GWP’s VISION is a water secure world. Our MISSION is to advance governance and management of water resources for sustainable and equitable development.

A network of networks, we ensure the ‘voices of water’ can inﬂuence local, national, regional, and global development priorities. GWP Regions

This is where you can find links to the websites of our Regional Water Partnerships (RWPs). RWPs are closest to the countries where we work. They share knowledge and learning across national boundaries and are expected to have an open, inclusive, and gender-sensitive policies for bringing together as wide a group of stakeholders as possible to solve water problems.

GWP at the Climate Change Negotiations in Bonn

GWP delegates are taking part in the UNFCCC climate change conference in Bonn, Germany, 1-11 June 2015. The conference is part of the preparations for the up-coming COP21 conference in Paris, France, in December. In Bonn, GWP is organising a side event and a GWP booth with information is available during the second week of the conference.

On Tuesday 9th June, GWP is organising a side event under the theme ‘Country Support for Water Security and Agriculture in NAPs and Climate Finance’.

This event will share lessons on the preparation of National Adaptation Plans (NAPs), on strengthening water security and agriculture in the NAPs process and opportunities to access climate finance.

The event will highlight innovative approaches and support mechanisms at country level. Case studies will provide insights on how to enhance climate finance readiness through NAP preparation, capacity building and investment preparation for water security and agriculture. The time and place for the event is at 3 p.m. CEST in room Bonn III (72)

Throughout the second week of the conference, GWP also has a booth in the exhibition area of the conference, where publications and information material on the network is available.
