GWP at Stockholm World Water Week 2011

The 2011 World Water Week takes place on 21-27 August 2011 in Stockholm, Sweden. This year's theme is "Responding to Global Changes - Water in an Urbanising World".

GWP supports the Stockholm World Water Week in many ways, and this year will launch the programme for Water, Climate and Development in Africa together with AMCOW on the Africa Focus Day on Tuesday, 23 August. In addition, two new GWP Technical Committee publications will be issued, a Background Paper on Social Equity and Integrated Water Resources Management, and a Perspectives Paper on Integrated Urban Water Management.
