GWP Regions

This is where you can find links to the websites of our Regional Water Partnerships (RWPs). RWPs are closest to the countries where we work. They share knowledge and learning across national boundaries and are expected to have an open, inclusive, and gender-sensitive policies for bringing together as wide a group of stakeholders as possible to solve water problems.

Chief Operations Officer (COO) and Deputy Executive Secretary

GWP is recruiting a Chief Operations Officer (COO) who will provide strategic thinking and programmatic direction to enhance Network performance, build synergies between regional and global actions to promote integrated and sustainable water resources management. The COO will also deputize for the GWP Executive Secretary and will be a key member of the GWPO management team.

S/he will look after network governance, the building and delivery of specific global GWP programmes – including their financing, quality and timeliness. S/he will foster cooperation across the secretariat’s teams, by building the secretariat-wide workprograme and by pro-actively setting structures and incentives for knowledge sharing at all levels. The role has 10-12 direct reports and some 60 indirect reports.
