GWP Regions

This is where you can find links to the websites of our Regional Water Partnerships (RWPs). RWPs are closest to the countries where we work. They share knowledge and learning across national boundaries and are expected to have an open, inclusive, and gender-sensitive policies for bringing together as wide a group of stakeholders as possible to solve water problems.

GWP Looking for Intern to the Global Secretariat

GWP is looking for an intern who wants to join the global secretariat in Stockholm, Sweden, for three months this autumn (mid-August to mid-December). The main job tasks will be to support GWP’s Sustainable Development Goals Programme (60%) and Partnership and Resource Mobilisation (PRM) unit (30%). GWP is offering 30,000 SEK to cover expenses connected to the internship.

To qualify for the internship, applicants need to meet the following requirements:

Be a national of and enrolled at a university in a non-European, non-North American country
Have an interest in water resources management, any of GWP’s overall focus areas (particularly SDGs and/or youth), and/or other environmental sustainability issues.
To have some knowledge of the 2030 Development Agenda and integrated water resources management is an advantage
Research and writing experience
Applicants must also meet all expenses for travel and any expenses beyond the provided stipend, through financial support from their educational institution, government, scholarships or through personal resources
