Student Opportunity – GWP Looking for Summer Interns

Edit 27 April: Please note that the application deadline for the GWP summer internships was 26 April (the below text is the original call), therefore we are no longer accepting submissions - shortlisted candidates will be contacted. Thank you to everybody who applied!

GWP is searching for three interns to join the global secretariat in Stockholm, Sweden, for three to six months. Due to the current uncertain circumstances globally, the internships may be carried out remotely (yet to be confirmed). The interns will work with 1) Communications & Water ChangeMaker Awards; 2) Transboundary Water Cooperation; and 3) Water Solutions for SDGs and Partnerships. Application deadline for all three positions is 26 April.

The Communications & Water ChangeMaker Awards intern will be part of the Knowledge and Learning Team in the Network Operations Unit, as well as the Communications Unit. The job tasks are mainly to support the newly launched Water ChangeMaker Awards in a variety of ways.

The Transboundary Water Cooperation intern will provide overall support in the development and organisation of the MOOC (Massive Open Online Course) on Governance for Transboundary Freshwater Security, which currently is in its final crucial stages before launch.

The intern for Water Solutions for Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and Partnerships will work both in the Network Operations Unit and with the Strategic Partnerships team in the Executive Secretary's Office, with a wide variety of tasks, including research and global stakeholder mapping.

Interested students should submit their applications through the online application system latest by 26 April 2020.

Applications should include the following: A cover letter with an introduction of the applicant, a resume/CV, and available start date. Shortlisted candidates will be contacted for an interview in the beginning of May.

Questions can be addressed to Internship@gwp.org (please note that applications are not accepted via e-mail).
