The agreement was signed as a Memorandum of Understanding in Tbilisi on 19 October 2011 with representatives from the States that are party to the Protocol on Water and Health, as well as private sector actors and representatives of international organizations. GWP Georgia will be involved in the implementation of the National Policy Dialogue.
Georgia to Conduct Dialogues on IWRM
GWP Georgia organized a meeting where the Ministry of Environmental Protection and the United Nations Economic Commission for Europe (UNECE) agreed to carry out a National Policy Dialogue on Integrated Water Resources Management whose main objective is to facilitate achievement of the Millennium Development Goals on water-related issues.
