GWP’s VISION is a water secure world. Our MISSION is to advance governance and management of water resources for sustainable and equitable development.

A network of networks, we ensure the ‘voices of water’ can inﬂuence local, national, regional, and global development priorities. GWP Regions

This is where you can find links to the websites of our Regional Water Partnerships (RWPs). RWPs are closest to the countries where we work. They share knowledge and learning across national boundaries and are expected to have an open, inclusive, and gender-sensitive policies for bringing together as wide a group of stakeholders as possible to solve water problems.

GWP on Water Documentary on Chinese Television

The Way Water Cries, the first documentary series about water issues in China, was broadcasted on CCTV-News Channel during prime time 14-21 October.

The Way Water Cries has raised widespread reactions in China and deepened public awareness of water issues. The chief advisor of the TV programme is Prof. Wang Hao, Vice Chair of GWP China and Academician of the Chinese Academy of Engineering. As the narrator of The Way Water Cries, Prof. Wang Hao participated in the production of the series. In addition, Dr. Björn Guterstam, Network Officer of GWPO was interviewed in his role as foreign expert for the series.
