GWP’s VISION is a water secure world. Our MISSION is to advance governance and management of water resources for sustainable and equitable development.

A network of networks, we ensure the ‘voices of water’ can inﬂuence local, national, regional, and global development priorities. GWP Regions

This is where you can find links to the websites of our Regional Water Partnerships (RWPs). RWPs are closest to the countries where we work. They share knowledge and learning across national boundaries and are expected to have an open, inclusive, and gender-sensitive policies for bringing together as wide a group of stakeholders as possible to solve water problems.

GWP Consulting Partners Meeting 2012

The annual Global Water Partnership Consulting Partners Meeting will be held in Stockholm on August 26, 2012 immediately prior to the Stockholm World Water Week. The theme of this year's meeting will be “Water security as a catalyst for climate-resilient development”

Since its inception in 1996, the GWP network has grown rapidly to span 2623 Partner organizations in 165 countries. The main purpose of the Consulting Partners meeting is to monitor the strategic direction of the Network, as set out in the GWP 2009-2013 Strategy, as well as to receive and comment on the annual activity and financial reports of the Steering Committee.

This year our GWP Patron, Margaret Catley-Carlson, will deliver the GWP Annual Lecture – “2020 Vision: The Future of Water”

The agenda and the meeting documents will be posted in due time here at the GWP website.

Partner organizations cannot be sponsored by GWP and must cover their own costs for participation in the GWP Consulting Partners Meeting.

All GWP Partners will receive a 25% discount on the registration fee. Please state GWP Partner under Step 1 – Other information - on the registration form for the Stockholm World Water Week.

Please also note that the Stockholm World Water Week is at a different venue than the GWP Consulting Partners Meeting.
