The GWP-WA Executive Secretariat with the support of Stockholm is working since the beginning of December 2020 to document eleven (11) processes in West Africa including 3 in Benin, 3 in Ghana, 1 in Burkina Faso, 1 in Senegal and 3 at transboundary and cross border level.
GWPO Working in Virtual Environments (WiVE) team is coordinating a series of five training sessions in May and June, with the objective of enhancing our skills in facilitation in virtual environments. The sessions are optional and open to all global and regional GWP staff.
A practical guide on “Governance of Coastal Wetlands in the Mediterranean – a Handbook”, was elaborated and launched, with contributions by Global Water Partnership-Mediterranean (GWP-Med) by its Chair, Prof. M. Scoullos.
The Caribbean Science Symposium on Water by the Global Water Partnership-Caribbean (GWP-C) takes place virtually on March 23rd – 25th, 2021 from 9:00 a.m. – 12:30 p.m. Atlantic Standard Time (AST) on each day. The theme of the event is “Building Resilience in the Regional Water Sector to Address Climatological and Hydrological Risks and Threats.”

Global Water Partnership and Wuhan International Water Law Academy are organising an online engagement session on 27 October for those who are currently enrolled – and those interested in enrolling – in the Massive Open Online Course (MOOC) on Transboundary Freshwater Security. The topic of the session is ‘Does the world need more International Water Law?’
