GWP Regions

This is where you can find links to the websites of our Regional Water Partnerships (RWPs). RWPs are closest to the countries where we work. They share knowledge and learning across national boundaries and are expected to have an open, inclusive, and gender-sensitive policies for bringing together as wide a group of stakeholders as possible to solve water problems.

Open for Applications: GWP Summer Internships

GWP is recruiting three interns to its global secretariat in Stockholm, Sweden. Covering the summer months, we are offering a Water and Climate Internship and SDG6 Support Programme Internship. We also have a part-time, long-term (up to 12 months) IWRM Knowledge Internship. The deadline to apply for all three internships is 10 March 2019.

The Water and Climate Internship will run from April or May for a minimum of 3 months. This internship will support development of background documents and training modules as part of the preparation for a project preparation and climate finance workshop in Latin America & Caribbean in July 2019. It will also support facilitation of regional communities of practice in Africa and Asia, among countries requesting continued capacity strengthening and knowledge exchange, with the aim of preparing high quality water projects. The SDG 6 Support Programme Internship will run from June for a minimum of 3 months with possible extension up to 6 months. The intern will – among other things – support in project management and progress tracking of country projects and the overall programme, collect and analyse the latest information and materials on innovative SDG developments, and support in developing communications and outreach materials for different audiences. The Integrated Water Resources Management (IWRM) Knowledge Internship is a part-time internship that will run from early August for up to 12 months. The intern will provide hands-on support to the implementation of the GWP IWRM knowledge and learning architecture, and it is an excellent opportunity for a Stockholm-based student seeking to complement their studies with practical work experience in a related field.
