GWP’s VISION is a water secure world. Our MISSION is to advance governance and management of water resources for sustainable and equitable development.

A network of networks, we ensure the ‘voices of water’ can inﬂuence local, national, regional, and global development priorities. GWP Regions

This is where you can find links to the websites of our Regional Water Partnerships (RWPs). RWPs are closest to the countries where we work. They share knowledge and learning across national boundaries and are expected to have an open, inclusive, and gender-sensitive policies for bringing together as wide a group of stakeholders as possible to solve water problems.

Caribbean and International Water and Funding Agencies Meet on a New Caribbean Climate-Proofing Water Investment Initiative

Inauguration of Combined Greywater Recycling System & Pilot Green Roof Application at MCAST by the Alter Aqua Programme

The Institute of Applied Science at the Malta College of Arts, Science & Technology (MCAST) opened its doors to the public, on Thursday, 26 March, for the inauguration of its newly installed greywater recycling system and green roof, at the presence of Hon. Chris Agius, Parliamentary Secretary for Research, Innovation, Youth & Sport, and Prof. Michael Scoullos, Chairman of the Global Water Partnership – Mediterranean (GWP-Med).

GWP China Acting Chair at 2015 Boao Forum for Asia

The four-day 2015, from March 25 to 29, BOAO Forum for Asia (BFA) was held in the scenic town in Hainan Province with the theme of "Asia's New Future: Toward a Community of Common Destiny". This is the first top-level multilateral forum in China after the annual sessions of the National People's Congress and the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference held earlier in March.

GWP joins Zimbabwe Eco Schools in Commemorating WWD

The Global Water Partnership (GWP) staff in Zimbabwe attended World Water Day commemorations organised by Mukuvisi Woodlands Nature Reserve and Environment Centre incorporating the Eco Schools Environment Education Programme. The event was funded by the 3^rd European Union Water Facility Programme in Zimbabwe and was held at Darwendale/Manyame Dam on the 25^th of March 2015. Apart from GWP, the event attracted 449 children and 74 teachers from 27 schools and 13 other organisations which included the European Union (EU),Environment Africa (EA), Wildlife Conservation, Practical Action, Upper Manyame Sub Catchment Council (UMSCC) and National Parks.

GWP CEE Highlights the Need for a Dedicated Water Goal on World Water Day 2015

The topic of World Water Day 2015 is Water and Sustainable Development. GWP CEE took active part in the global GWP campaign In Support of a Dedicated Water Goal in collaboration with UN-Water, to raise awareness of the links between Water and Sustainable Development.
