May 22-23, 2022, GWP China joined Tsinghua to complete a mock leaders' dialogue on Langcang-Mekong Cooperation(LMC). GWP China Fujian recommended Prof. David J. Devlaeminck (PhD) to coach undergraduates of Tsinghua University in their role play practice of powers' communication in the trans-boundary process.
June 13-14, 2022, GWP China Hebei organized the Seminar of "Investigation on Implementation Effect of Water Ecological Environment Regulation in Baiyangdian & Daqing River Basin" in Shijiazhuang, capital of Hebei Province. Chaired by GWP China Hebei's Chair, Jianyi LIANG, the workshop invited 17 experts and stakeholders to the meeting.

March 22, 2022, UN World Water Development Report 2022 “Groundwater - making the invisible visible” was launched at the opening ceremony of the 9th World Water Forum in Dakar, Senegal. GWP China facilitated the launching of the Executive Summary of the Report in Chinese.
GWP China Senior TEC Advisor, Guoliang CHEN, former Chair of GWP China Fujian and member of the Standing Committee of the ninth Fujian Provincial People's Congress, donated his publication "Drink Water from The Same River - 23 Years of Water Sharing Between Fujian & Taiwan" to the Fujian-Taiwan Museum in Quanzhou, Fujian Province, late February 2022.
February 21, 2022, Global Water Development, a youth capacity building programme, was initiated in Beijing. Hosted by the Department of Water of Tsinghua University and supported by GWP China and GWP WAY, the programme manages to help undergraduate students of Tsinghua explore their knowledge and related tools.
