March 22, 2022, UN World Water Development Report 2022 “Groundwater - making the invisible visible” was launched at the opening ceremony of the 9th World Water Forum in Dakar, Senegal. GWP China facilitated the launching of the Executive Summary of the Report in Chinese.

February 21, 2022, Global Water Development, a youth capacity building programme, was initiated in Beijing. Hosted by the Department of Water of Tsinghua University and supported by GWP China and GWP WAY, the programme manages to help undergraduate students of Tsinghua explore their knowledge and related tools.
December 7 and 8, 2021, the 2nd Lancang-Mekong Water Resources Cooperation Forum was kicked off via a ministers’dialogue at the opening ceremony following with six themed sessions.
29 May 2021, the Junior Water Prize (JWP) Final was broadcast live to 900,000 audiences online. 15 teams of 13-18-year-old students from 8 provinces shared their innovative products and answered the jury to realize their innovative solutions to improve water and environment development. Zhan Hanchu and Huang Haoxing, Guangdong Experimental Middle School, won the award for their "voice-controlled water saving device”.
