GWP’s VISION is a water secure world. Our MISSION is to advance governance and management of water resources for sustainable and equitable development.

OUR UNIQUE VALUE: GWP mobilises action on the global water crisis through a unique combination of social capital, shared values, credibility within the global water community, bottom-up orientation, and expertise. A network of networks, we ensure the ‘voices of water’ can inﬂuence local, national, regional, and global development priorities. We are committed to our role as a neutral convener and respected for our focus on inclusiveness and sustainability.

GWP Regions

This is where you can find links to the websites of our Regional Water Partnerships (RWPs). RWPs are closest to the countries where we work. They share knowledge and learning across national boundaries and are expected to have an open, inclusive, and gender-sensitive policies for bringing together as wide a group of stakeholders as possible to solve water problems.

GWP Welcomes Partners to Virtual Network Meeting

Global Water Partnership (GWP) invites all Partners to its annual GWP Network Meeting on 1 June 2015. This year’s meeting will be held online - GWP Live - broadcast by live stream, with an opportunity to watch a taped version of the event afterwards.

The 2-hour-long meeting starts at 1 p.m. CEST, hosted by GWP Chair Ursula Schaefer-Preuss, GWP Acting Executive Secretary Rudolph Cleveringa and GWP Technical Committee Chair Mohamed Ait-Kadi. For those who can’t follow the live stream broadcast, a taped version will be available on the GWP YouTube channel afterwards.

Before and during the meeting, Partners are welcome to send questions or comments to GWP, either by e-mail to gwpnm@gwp.org, or by commenting in the live stream through your social media login.

GWP is also encouraging Partners to share their stories – information on what they are doing with sustainable water management, why they joined GWP, and what the GWP Network can offer organisations to ensure a water secure world.
