GWP Sponsors McGill Online Course Participation

Edit: Please note that the deadline for this call expired on 4 September 2017 and we are no longer accepting applications.

GWP has sponsorship available for eligible participants to complete an online course in Integrated and Adaptive Water Resources Planning, Management and Governance, offered by McGill University’s Faculty of Agricultural and Environmental Sciences. Up to 10 participants can be sponsored.

The requirements for receiving GWP sponsorship are: the participant must be from a registered GWP partner institution and must submit a nomination letter from the same institution as part of their application. The participant should preferably reside within a Country Water Partnership of the GWP (this is not a mandatory requirement, only preferred).

All eligible participants are encouraged to apply, however due to a limited number of GWP sponsored positions available, a maximum of ten (10) participants will receive sponsorship. GWP will cover the full price of the course, $1450.00 (CAD), for the chosen sponsorship participants. Every participant is expected to submit a case study to GWP at the end of the course.

The online course runs from 25 September to 18 November 2017. Full details are available on the course website.
