On the question about whether it’s easy or not for organisations to take water decisions today, he said: “I think it's quite difficult because you have to adapt while you are making a decision, and it's difficult also to find cases where things have happened in a quite similar way, you don't have good examples in real life so you have to work with uncertainties”
Speaking directly to the IHE Delft Alumni Network and why they should submit their change journeys, Eddy said: “If you are becoming a leader in water at any level that is there, you are also able to look at the different perspectives of a problem, and by submitting your journey to this award, you allow people to also look at the perspective that you've been using and they learn by themselves, and I do think that that may contribute to finding new innovative solutions.”
“I'm looking very much forward to - your I hope - award-winning submissions of your journeys”.
