GWP Regions

This is where you can find links to the websites of our Regional Water Partnerships (RWPs). RWPs are closest to the countries where we work. They share knowledge and learning across national boundaries and are expected to have an open, inclusive, and gender-sensitive policies for bringing together as wide a group of stakeholders as possible to solve water problems.

Spring 2021: GWP Recruiting Six Interns to the Global Secretariat

GWP is looking for candidates to cover 6 internship positions in spring 2021. All positions will support GWP’s work in the global secretariat in Stockholm, Sweden, but due to the ongoing pandemic, some or all of the internships may be carried out remotely. The length of each contract is 3-6 months, and the deadline to apply is 13 December.

The recruitment is part of GWP’s ongoing Internship Programme, which provides opportunities for students interested in sustainable development and water governance to gain work experience in the worldwide GWP network. Please note that GWP offers no remuneration or any other financial support for its internship positions.

Spring Internship - Youth Engagement & Communications

This intern will be part of the GWP Network Operations Unit as well as the Communications Unit. The assignment includes tasks such as mapping youth organisations and activities within the GWP network; supporting the design and implementation of a Youth Water Academy; assisting preparation of knowledge resources, concept notes, communications, and background materials for internal and external use. Spring Internship - Gender & Multi-Stakeholder Partnerships

This intern is part of the "A Stake in Water" project team within the GWP Network Operations Unit, and more specifically on a part of the project that focuses on strengthening multi-stakeholder platforms and mainstreaming gender into all aspects of GWP's work. Spring Internship - Transboundary Water Cooperation

This intern is part of the Transboundary Water Cooperation team within the GWP Network Operations Unit. The assignment includes support in implementing the MOOC on Governance for Transboundary Freshwater Security through a variety of tasks, and support in the development and updating of transboundary content on the GWP website. Spring Internship - Water Solutions for the SDGs

This intern is part of the "Water Solutions for the SDGs" team within the GWP Network Operations Unit. The assignment includes tasks such as updating the SDG 6 IWRM Support Programme website, researching external platforms on which to promote the SDG 6 IWRM Support Programme and its activities, as well as contributing to other aspects of promoting and advancing the Programme. Spring Internships - IWRM Toolbox

The selected candidate for this position supports the redevelopment of GWP´s IWRM ToolBox, an online platform with more than 60 tools on integrated water management. The intern works under the supervision of the Senior Learning Specialist and works closely with the IWRM Specialist and the "A Stake in Water" team.Get the full details and apply here.

Spring Internship - Water, Food & Ecosystems for the SDGs and Strategic Partnerships

This intern is part of the "Water Solutions for the SDGs" team in the GWP Network Operations Unit, focusing on the water, food, and ecosystems agenda, as well as the "Strategic Partnerships" team in the Executive Secretary's Office, focusing on partnerships and resource mobilisation.
